The owners of the business, the Özgür Family, have been involved for the last
30 years, first as traders, then years later as processors and packers. In 2003,
they implemented a major investment program and established a brand new factory
in the center of the largest growing area in Saruhanlı, about an hour from Izmir.
The new factory was built to the highest standards you would expect from a
modern food processing facility. What's more, Özgür is now both HACCP and BRC
AA+ Grade certified and is proud to have been awarded “approved supplier” status
by many of the largest food manufacturers in Europe.
Basing its production process on the concepts of Quality, Hygiene and Technology,
the company exports delicious Aegean raisins to all European countries,
especially England, France, Germany, Italy and also Canada, Australia and New
Zealand.
